MATH CLASS PROCEDURES
1. Enter the classroom quietly, find your seat, clear workspace, and sharpen pencils during first minutes of class.
2. Bring all necessary materials to math class each day. (textbook, journal, no.2 pencils, and notebook paper) All assignments/ homework/projects are due when entering the class. No exceptions. Late assignments/ homework/projects will not be accepted. Being responsible is one of the most important keys in Math.
3. Be in your seat, with homework on desk, and working on the math bellringer by the time I take attendance.
4. Raise your hand to speak and/or get permission for restrooms and leaving your seat.
5. Do not disrupt class with talking out, tapping pencils on desk, wadding up paper, & walking during instruction.
6. All math work should be completed in pencil. Anything other than pencil will be not be accepted or graded.
7. Quietly fold trash, but reframe from throwing it away during class time. When class is over, clean up your area and deposit trash on your way to your next class.
8. Copy problems from text accurately and neatly. Number problems, show all work.
9. Pass up papers to the first person in your row on time; finished or not.
10. Papers to be turned in must be headed correctly in the top space to the right with full name, date, and class period. Assignment description and page should be placed on the top left line of paper.
11. Before leaving math class make sure all your personal items are accounted for and homework is written from board. Collect all your belongings and trash.
